The weather was misty and rainy all day. We checked into the Lazy L&L Campground on the banks of the Guadalupe River between Canyon Lake and New Braunfels. This place would be great in the summer – they rent tubes and have shuttles which pick you up down river. We did some wine tasting at the Mandola and Driftwood wineries and had a barbeque dinner at the Salt Lick Bar BQ Restaurant near Driftwood.
