3/12/07 & 3/13/07 - Boerne, TX

Monday
We checked into the Top of the Hill RV Resort a couple of miles outside Boerne off I10. The resort has a pool, hot tub, a big club house with a gym, big kitchen and living room with books, pool table, foosball table and 2 computers. We are on the edge of a hill with a great view of the Hill Country. The view from our Casita is awesome! We went into Boerne and Jim had a beer at the Dodging Duck Brew Pub. Then we did a tour of Cave Without A Name. This is a really nice cave with unique formations. (Martha, Missy and Coleby went here on Sunday on their way home.) It was sunny nearly all day. Then around 10:30 pm it rained a little more.

Tuesday
It rained all day so we drove a circle between Boerne, Bandera, Kerrvile and Comfort. Went to the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville. It had some beautiful paintings and bronze sculptures of cowboy life, including some paintings by the artist who drew the Red Ryder comic strip. It rained 2" at our campsite between 2 and 6 PM. We played Yahtzee to pass the time.
