We pulled into the Fredericksburg KOA around 6 PM and set up the trailer next to a small cabin Martha had rented. This is a very nice campground on the outskirts of Fredericksburg. The only drawback is that our RV site is right next to the road to Luckenbach, and the noise from the Harleys and the jacked up pickup trucks is deafening. We grilled some hot dogs and then drove down to Luckenbach around 10 PM to see what was happening. There was a jam session outside which moved into the bar about the time we got there because it was getting chilly. We had a few beers and listened to the music. They actually played "Luchenbach, Texas". Very groovy.
