On Monday morning we left David and Lorna's to drive to Monterey. We had to shuffle some of our belongings into their SUV to be able to pull the trailer up a steep hill at their house. David followed us to a shopping center and we reloaded our cargo and left for Monterey. We checked into the Cypress Tree Inn, a motel with 8 RV spaces at the side of the parking lot. We looked around the city and drove to Peter B's Brewpub near Fisherman's Wharf. Jim tried their beers and then we strolled on the wharf. There were some seals sunning on the lower dock. They were barking very loudly. Then we drove down the coast aways to Pacific Grove and took pictures of the seashore. We tried to eat at a Swiss place David and Jim ate at before in Carmel, but it was closed on Monday. We then went to the Hog's Breath Inn which use to be owned by Clint Eastwood and ate there.
