3/8/07 - Houston, TX

Carolyn's last day at work will be tomorrow. We've stopped the papers, forwarded the mail to her son in Dayton, and put the Miata in the garage. We'll leave the Avalon with her brother so he can use it to take Mae Bell on trips away from the nursing home. The Pathfinder is gassed up and loaded. As soon as I have a permanent crown installed at the dentist on Friday we are out of here! First stop will be Frederickburg where we will be staying at the Fredericksburg KOA, about equadistant from Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. Carolyn's friend Martha, her daughter, and grandson are also staying there in a cabin.
